You can only imagine my excitement when I learned Ferran Adria was publishing a cookbook devoted to home cooking. Ferran Adria was the chef and creative genius behind the number one restaurant in the world, El Bulli. In 1984, at the age of 22, Adria joined the kitchen staff of El Bulli and only 18 months later he became Head Chef.
